Little Fish Bar, one of Sydney’s best waterfront spots, will celebrate Sundays during autumn with a Bubbles and Brunch pop-up from 10 April to 1 May.

Soak up stellar harbour views while indulging in a lavish seaside feast with bubbles and DJ lounge tunes.

Executive Chef Stephen Seckold and Head Chef Ian Royle have curated a menu which focuses on fresh seafood, perfectly paired with Charles Heidsieck Champagne and Colvetoraz Valdobbiadence Prosecco.

Choose from an a la carte menu of delicious seafood or let the chefs choose for you with these two options:

Champagne Charlie includes two Sydney rock oysters, torched scampi nigiri, house smoked ocean trout and a bottle of NV Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve, for $170. Or for a bottle of NV Charles Heidsieck Rose Reserve Champagne instead it’s $220.

Prosecco Paradise includes two Sydney rock oysters, torched scampi nigiri, house smoked ocean trout and a bottle of Colvetoraz Valdobbiadence Prosecco Brut, for $110.

Other a la carte menu options include Dutch pancakes with Yasa Elite Caviar (10g tin) and crème fraiche and also fresh figs with goat’s curd, truffled honey and brioche.

Champagne and prosecco will also be available by the glass.

Paolo Saccone, sommelier of Flying Fish has selected Charles Heidsieck as the hero champagne because of its structure and character: “The richness of toasted brioche notes and fruity characteristics perfectly complement the seafood selection at Bubbles and Brunch.”

Perched at the end of Jones Bay Wharf alongside Flying Fish restaurant in Pyrmont, Little Fish is the perfect spot for a relaxed autumn afternoon with friends.

Five things you didn’t know about champagne:

Marilyn Monroe, at least once, took a bath in champagne. According to her biographer, 350 bottles of champers were used to fill up her bath tub. We sincerely hope she got a few sips in while she was in there!
Each second, champagne emits 30 bubbles.
About 28,000 bottles of champagne are sold at Wimbledon each year.
World Champagne Day is on 23 October.
There are approximately 49 million bubbles in a standard sized bottle of champagne.
