We’re looking for a specialist marketing professional with at least seven years’ experience to lead and grow a new division of our fast-paced specialist PR and communications agency.

Recent client growth means our team is expanding to offer marketing services alongside our specialist PR capabilities. You’ll develop and drive the marketing services across our fantastic portfolio of food, drink, hospitality and travel clients. We need a marketer with agency experience who is super-driven, creative, curious, and organised. Experience in or at least a strong passion for an understanding of hospitality, food and drink brands, and travel is a must.

You will play a key role in driving the agency’s commercial success, ensuring high client satisfaction and team engagement. Delivering intelligent, integrated marketing solutions for clients including a large hospitality group with multiple venues – from in-venue collateral, to database and e-newsletters, social, websites, through to eye-catching outdoor activations. All working alongside the PR team to ensure cohesiveness on campaigns.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this is an opportunity to grow your career and personal development with a team who live to eat great food and love what they do and who they get to do it with.

You will take responsibility for:

  • The successful execution of strategic and creative client marketing programs encompassing brand, digital and content strategy; copywriting; web development; and SEO;
  • Delivering integrated marketing plans and budgets for all marketing collateral – POS, social, web, database, print;
  • Identifying new business opportunities and leading new business pitches;
  • Being the agency’s senior marketing lead; providing valuable counsel on marketing communications and industry issues;
  • Delivering strategic and creative solutions to clients articulately and with enthusiasm;
  • Providing insights into food, drink, hospitality, and travel industry issues and suggesting new ideas for campaigns and projects gathered from this research;
  • Leading a smart team of specialist digital marketing and communications professionals.

As well as demonstrating your experience in all the above areas, it is essential that you have:

  • A minimum of seven years’ experience in marketing, preferably with a solid understanding of hospitality;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Demonstrated success developing strategic marketing campaigns and activities and driving them in market;
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in administering email marketing and automation tools and excellent knowledge of best social media practices and experience administering social media channels, e.g. Facebook Pages, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  • A track record developing sound client relationships;
  • Ability to manage a team and contribute to their development plans;
  • Excellent communication skills including magnificent grammar and writing skills;
  • A collaborative, team player attitude;
  • A degree, or relevant industry certifications.
