This September, find your inner yogi while surrounded by some of the Hunter Valley’s most scenic landscape during a rejuvenating yoga retreat at boutique luxury hotel, Peppers Convent.

The two day, one night weekend yoga retreat held on 17 and 18 September includes all meals and is led by Sydney-based yogi, Heidi Horne. Over the weekend, Heidi will lead a series of 90-minute yoga, wellness and meditation sessions for all levels of ability. These sessions will feature an energetic combination of movements, stretches and breathing exercises that enhance flexibility, improve balance and challenge the core whilst you create your inner zen.

During your stay, your body will be fuelled with a range of wholesome, delicious, seasonal dishes from The Convent’s Circa 1876 kitchen. One of the Hunter Valley’s most iconic restaurants, Circa 1876 is an indulgent fine dining experience that brings the paddock-to-plate ethos to life. Set in a historic 139-year old cottage, the food features ethically and sustainably grown and sourced produce mostly from the on-site organic kitchen garden. At the helm of the kitchen is Executive Chef Trent Barrett, who will be treating guests to a kitchen garden tour post yoga session on the Sunday.

The yoga retreat packages consist of a one night stay at Peppers Convent Hunter Valley with yoga sessions spanning over two days; a two course dinner at Circa 1876; plus breakfast and a kitchen garden tour, for $495 per person or $395 per person twin share. Additional nights’ accommodation are available for the Friday or Sunday evening as well and guests are encouraged to enquire at the time of booking, as rooms are subject to availability.

Yoga instructor, Heidi Horne has practised yoga for more than 25 years with her classes accessible to all participants from beginners to advanced. Heidi believes that outer health and beauty is linked to a wholesome approach to food, mental wellbeing, exercise and that yoga is for everyone.

Located just two hours from Sydney and positioned in the heart of Pokolbin, Peppers Convent Hunter Valley is an award-winning luxury boutique hotel and a prestigious destination for any occasion, yoga inclusive. The carefully curated and romantic property offers guests grand comfort with timeless charm in a Hunter Valley retreat amongst the vines.
