Barangaroo hosts Sydney’s ultimate Emirates Melbourne Cup Day celebration transforming into the city’s first official live site. In partnership with Victoria Racing Club and Maison Mumm Champagne, Cup Day Festival allows Sydneysiders to experience all the action from Flemington along the water’s edge at Barangaroo.

The atmosphere along Barangaroo’s waterfront is set to be electric and brimming with pop-up eateries and bars, flowing G.H.Mumm, and live entertainment to keep Sydney in racing mode all afternoon. Entry to the waterfront celebrations is free and open to all looking for a fabulous day out by the water and wanting to discover a new side of Sydney. There’s multiple screens broadcasting Channel Seven’s coverage from Flemington and TAB facilities on site for those who fancy a flutter.

Cup Day Festival at Barangaroo features live entertainment along the waterfront all afternoon and through to 9pm. Following the big race, Barangaroo continues to party with flamboyant DJ duo Sweet Mix Kids headlining the stage with a set that incorporates electronic drums and live instruments. DJ Mia Paris tops the night off with an incredible performance featuring live percussion.
