13th Annual Aussie Beer Fest

The Task
Drive media coverage for The Australian Heritage Hotel’s 13th Annual Beer Fest 2017.

The Tonic
Tonic began media engagement by targeting high priority journalists with tailored pitches including interviews and trends in the lead up to the festival.

During the festival, we hosted five key media and influencers including The Urban List, National Liquor News, Australian Hotelier, Hospitality Magazine and social influencers Mr and Mrs Romance.

We ensured all media had the option of interviewing General Manager, Lincoln Baker, as well as key brewers, before and during the event.

Post-launch, we compiled a media and influencer social media wrap-up, including total impressions and social coverage clippings from the event.

The Proof
During the weekend of 13 – 15 October, we hosted five media on site and secured 19 media stories across print and online.

The media coverage to date reached an audience of more than 850,000. These included stories in Broadsheet, GQ online, Time Out, Daily Telegraph online, Concrete Playground, Eat Drink Play, Hospitality Magazine, PubTIC and Beer and Brewer. In addition to this we achieved four social media posts with a combined potential reach of 145,000.
