Get media and influencers talking about relaunch of Bungalow 8, Sydney’s waterfront dining, drinking and dancing destination on King Street Wharf.
Tonic began media engagement by targeting high priority journalists with tailored pitches around the relaunch of Bungalow 8.
For the media event, Tonic hosted 28 key media and influencers for a harbourside feast and cocktails at the venue.
Guests enjoyed The Night Fizz cocktail on The Loft’s balcony as they overlooked views of Sydney Harbour and feasted on canapes of truffle mushroom and parmesan arancini balls; honey lemon chicken skewers; and pork with kaffir, lime and ginger pie.
As the sun went down, guests moved downstairs to indulge in executive chef Justin Wise’s shared menu of mussels with chilli tomato and basil; cured snapper salad; braised pork hock with garlic caramel and pancakes; and loaded fries with cheese and truffle. Cape Mentellle Georgiana Sauvignon Blanc and Marmaduke Shiraz complemented the dishes, flowing all night long. To top the night off, mini sorbet cocktails were served.
Guests included Central Magazine, Time Out, Qantas Magazine, Nova 969, FBi Radio and Tourism Australia, and influencers Arrnott Olsen and Alex Glover. Having media experience the food and atmosphere was key to prompting coverage and building advocacy.
