Tonic developed key messages and media materials around the relaunch of Cargo.
For the relaunch, Tonic hosted more than 100 key media and influencers at a VIP party in November. Sydney DJ KLP kickstarted the festivities with her blend of club beats and polished pop. Guests were treated to roaming nibbles: crispy fried chicken ribs; mushroom arancini; cured salmon and braised beef short rib washed down perfectly with flowing bubbles, beer, cocktails and wine.
Guests included Time Out, The Brag, Eat Drink Play, and social influencers Alix McDermott (The Bachelor contestant), Nathan Tito (lifestyle blogger) and Romy Van De Laar (Sydney model).
Post-launch, Tonic managed a media and influencer hosting program for those with solid social communities across food, lifestyle and celebrity to provide a steady flow of traditional and social media coverage.
Tonic secured 24 media stories for Cargo across print, broadcast and online around the relaunch reaching an audience of more than one million.
These included stories in Time Out, The AU Review, The Urban List, Hospitality Magazine and The Shout.
In addition, Tonic achieved 18 social media posts with a combined potential reach of more than 200,000.
