The Royal Hotel Leichhardt transforms into a beer lover’s playground for the third year to host Inner West Beer Fest this November.
The corners of Leichhardt’s Norton and Carlisle Streets come alive with over 10 Aussie breweries including Young Henry’s; Batch Brewing; Willie the Boatman; Philter Brewing; Akasha and more. Indulge in festival foodie favourites, Asian Dumpling House; and Mexican Fiesta stalls; or enjoy a feast on The Royal’s stellar balcony as you overlook the festival and buzzing Norton Street. Get into the groove with live music all day with Zac from CHC DJs; Mark Travers and Sunday, be entertained by Matt Stewart.
It’s not Inner West Beer Fest without some classic competitions. There’s a ‘best beer in show’ award, with the winning brewery getting a tap takeover or ‘people’s choice’ with the winner taking home a $100 bar tab. Want something a little more hands on? Scubar crab racing is back, a gold coin donation gets you your very own hermit crab to run laps around the others. Spent all your coins? Set up camp in the garage for ping-pong; arcade games; giant Jenga; and giant connect four. Stroll on down with your mates and say cheers to the weekend with a cold one.
