Collaborating with influencers can be a great way to engage with a new audience. Holding a competition together incentivises new audiences to follow you and at the same time gives them the opportunity to try your products. Sticking to these simple rules will help you get the best results:

1.Make sure your brands align 👬 When you are picking an influencer or account to collaborate with make sure your brands naturally align. If the account is all about cars, then a food delivery service is probably not the best match. Always think, who is your ideal customer? Pick them.

2. Have an agreement 🖊 Create an agreement with all your expectations clearly outlines. Agree to the terms of the collaboration before you get started, this way everyone is on the same page.

3.Have a clear call to action 📣 What is your goal? Do you want more Instagram followers? Are you trying to grow your email database? Whatever your goal, make sure the instructions to enter the prize clear.

4.The prize must be right 🏆 We’re all pretty lazy when it comes to entering. If the prize doesn’t jump out for your audience, it’s not going to get traction.
