Tweed Heads goes loco when Mad Mex brings the heat to Tweed City Shopping Centre with its newest store opening.
Mad Mex creates fresh Baja-Mexican food using authentic Mexican recipes and ingredients, with a Californian influence. From the best burritos this side of the hemisphere to quesadillas, tacos to salads, there’s a range of tasty and fresh options. The fresh Mexican grill sources ingredients both locally and directly from Mexico to deliver the Mad Mex twist. Using only the highest quality ingredients, each Mad Mex store prepares delicious guacamole as well as slow-cooked and freshly grilled meats, daily.
Like your tacos loaded, your burrito naked or your nachos dairy free? The Mad Mex menu is customisable, allowing customers to choose exactly what makes up their meal and tailor it to their personal tastes and dietary requirements. The new store offers made-to-order Mexican dishes combined with quick service, giving Mexican food fans a new and vibrant dine-in or take-away option in the heart of Tweed Heads.
Mad Mex boasts a chilled, fun fiesta-inspired atmosphere, which makes a fantastic setting for a quick bite or dinner with the whole family. Located in the newly renovated outdoor entertainment and leisure precinct at Tweed City Shopping Centre, Mad Mex is excited to be able to bring their fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine to the local community.

To celebrate the opening, Mad Mex is letting “Kids Eat Free” for six weeks. From Tuesday 4 October, children aged 10 years or under can get their hands on a free serving of nachitos or mini melt when any main meal is purchased.
