Manly Wharf Hotel introduces Jazz on the Jetty this spring. Grab some friends and kick back drink in hand and enjoy the musical stylings of soulful Carlotta Centanni and the Marcello Maio Trio against a backdrop of Sydney harbour.
Kicking off the series on Thursday 28 September, Italian-born Carlotta performs jazz classics including Summertime, My Funny Valentine and some of her own compositions. Classically trained this Italian siren is a master of her craft, having spent the past few years performing across Italy and Australia. Carlotta’s voice lulls you into a musical daydream.
On Saturday 30 September, its Marcello Maio Trio’s turn. Marcello Maio is a musician, composer and musical director. Accomplished in piano, piano-accordion, keyboards and flute, his trademark musicianship and versatility across a range of musical genres has established Marcello in some of Sydney’s most highly acclaimed latin, jazz and world music ensembles.
Manly Wharf Hotel is one of Sydney’s most spectacular harbourside pubs, located right on the jetty wharf. It’s where the locals go and serves up great-tasting pub meals in a casual and relaxed atmosphere overlooking the harbour.
