Manly Wharf Hotel
Manly Wharf Hotel provides the perfect waterfront destination to take in the race that stops the nation. A glass of Chandon or Furphy beer is served on arrival before sitting down to a three-course set menu designed by head chef Kristen Hooper. To start, devour cheeseburger spring rolls; yellowfin tuna tacos; and chicken Fattoush cups, before sinking your teeth into the Shanghai braised beef; or Roasted Hiramassa kingfish. Finish it off with an Oreo cheesecake. The racing action will be streamed live on the TVs throughout the venue and TAB facilities provided so punters won’t miss a thing. Cup Day Festival is a partnership between Victoria Racing Club, Maison Mumm and The Streets of Barangaroo, and is Sydney’s only official live site for Australia’s biggest race day. From 12pm to 9pm, the harbourfront locale will come alive with live music, multiple screens broadcasting the official coverage from Flemington, with TAB betting facilities on site.
