What does engagement rate mean? You’ve probably heard it being thrown around in social media chit chat, but what does it actually mean?
Put simply, it is the measurement of metrics including likes, comments, and shares on a post. For us, these are great indicators on how much attention your audience is paying. High consumer engagement is a sign of great content.
Tip: the higher the number of followers, typically the lower the engagement. The benchmarks to look for are:
• Low engagement = less than 1%
• Average engagement = between 1% and 3.5%
• High engagement = between 3.5% and 6%
